Kim Kardashian Reportedly A 'Very Hands-On Mom' With Baby Chicago

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is a total pro.

According to an Us Weekly exclusive, published on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, Kim Kardashian has already settled into a routine with her newest little bundle of joy, daughter Chicago West.

"Kim gets up for everything, in the middle of the night, especially in the first week. It's really important they bond with the baby. Kim's a very hands-on mom," a source told the magazine. "Baby is settling in beautifully. Chi is sleeping a ton for now."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, welcomed Chicago, their third child, on Monday, Jan. 15. She was born via surrogate at 12:47 a.m. and weighed in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces.

"Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl," the 37-year-old announced the following day. "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care."

Kardashian added that their daughter North, 4, and son Saint, 2, "are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."

A few days later, the reality TV star revealed their newborn's name, reportedly chosen in honor of the city where West was raised, on her website. The proud mom of three later tweeted that her nickname is Chi (pronounced "shy").

It's certainly been an exciting time for the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan as of late, as Kim's sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are also reportedly expecting.
