Kat Von D Ties The Knot With Boyfriend Leafar Seyer
Congratulations to the tattoo artist!
On Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, Kat Von D, whose full name is Katherine von Drachenberg, announced via Instagram that she's now a married woman after tying the knot with Prayers singer Leafar Seyer! Sharing a photo of her and her now-husband's hands, Von D wrote, "Today, I married my soul's mate, my mind's twin, my best friend: @prayers đź–¤Juntos en vida y en muerte."
Seyer shared the same photo, which showed off their brand new wedding bands and their matching black manicures, on his own Instagram account, adding, "Today I married the girl of my dreams [ En Vida Y En Muerte ]."
As E! News noted, "en vida y en muerte" translates to "in life and in death."
A week earlier, the couple had celebrated Valentine's Day together, gushing over one another on their social media accounts. On Seyer's Instagram page, he posted a video of Von D outside, showing off a banner flown over their home that read, "I love you Kat Von D." In the caption, he wrote, "Seeing you smile and making you happy is what I live for. I love you @thekatvond."
Von D shared a similar video on her Instagram page, telling her followers, "...so this just happened." She also added the hashtag, "#bestvalentinesdayever."
Von D, who had highly publicized relationships with both Jesse James and DJ DeadMau5, had previously married tattoo artist Oliver Peck in 2003 (via Page Six). They later divorced in 2007.
