Kendra Wilkinson Is In 'Great Spirits' Amid Hank Baskett Split

Kendra Wilkinson is moving forward.

On Friday, April 27, 2018, the Kendra on Top star's bestie, Jessica Hall, opened up to Us Weekly about how she's doing amid her divorce from Hank Baskett.

"Kendra is a very strong woman, and I get to experience first-hand what an amazing, caring mom she is and how she always places her children first," Hall told the magazine at the launch of her blog, Sleepless Mom. "She is fierce, and will always come through any challenges!"

Of the event itself, she said, "I was excited to have all of my friends come and celebrate this exciting launch for me," adding that Wilkinson is "always supportive."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Wilkinson, 32, and Baskett, 35, officially filed for divorce after nearly nine years of marriage earlier this month. Following weeks of rumors and several emotional social media posts hinting at their split, the Girls Next Door alum took to Instagram to confirm the pair had called it quits on Friday, April 6.

"Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man," Wilkinson wrote at the time, captioning a photo of the two. "I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways. I'm beyond sad and heartbroken because i did believe in forever, that's why i said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way."

She continued, "We are both amazing parents and our kids will be happy n never know the difference other than seeing mama smile....Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed."

Citing irreconcilable differences in their separate filings, the former couple, who tied the knot in July 2009, listed their date of separation as Jan. 1, 2018. In what seems to be an amicable split, they are both seeking joint legal and physical custody of their children, 8-year-old son Hank IV and 3-year-old daughter Alijah.
