Lisa Vanderpump Breaks Social Media Silence Following Brother's Death

Lisa Vanderpump is breaking her silence.

On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, the Vanderpump Rules star took to social media for the first time since her brother Mark's passing in late April.

"Rest In Peace big brother 💔," she wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of the two together. "It's been a devastating couple of weeks... one day at a time," the reality TV star wrote in a second post, alongside a snapshot of herself riding her white stallion, Prince Tardon. "I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support. Love Lisa xo 💕."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Mark Vanderpump, who worked as a professional DJ, was found dead at his home in Gloucestershire, England on Monday, April 30. He was 59, and he is survived by two sons. While his cause of death is suspected to be a drug overdose, it is not known whether it was accidental or intentional.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star confirmed her brother's death on Saturday, May 12. "This has come as a shock to us all," she released in a statement to the Daily Mail. "My brother and I had connected the day before this tragedy and I was completely unprepared for this."

The 57-year-old's statement continued, "He was my only sibling and I am shocked and saddened by his passing. I am trying to be supportive to his two young sons that he has left behind, and help them get through this tragedy. We appreciate your consideration in this private and extremely difficult family time."

Our thoughts are with Vanderpump's loved ones during this difficult time.
