Angelina Jolie Eyes Historic $25 Million California Mansion

Could Angelina Jolie be making a move with the kids?

Page Six reports that the Tomb Raider (2001) star has been looking at the Cecil B. DeMille estate in Los Feliz, Calif. and has taken quite an interest in the $25 million property. Its 2.1 acres features not only a 6-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion but also a pool house, a studio house, and gorgeous gardens. Its Realtor.com page also describes the property's "newer classic old Hollywood style pool with arched fountains," which is "surrounded by rolling lawns, specimen trees, rose gardens and dramatic views from the Observatory to Ocean sunsets."

A source told the paper that Jolie, 41, "wants to make this her new home," but there's been no official word from Jolie or representatives for the actress.

The estate was built 1913 and, according to E! News, has since been completely renovated. It was once home to famed director Cecil B. DeMille and actor Charlie Chaplin. It's currently owned by author Richard Grossman and Lisa Lyons, an art consultant.

Since Jolie's split from husband Brad Pitt, the former couple has been placing many of their shared homes on the market, including their 35-room French estate and their New Orleans, La. mansion, which sold for $4.9 million. According to People magazine, Pitt, 53, and Jolie still own a 5,300-square-foot home in Los Angeles, Calif. and a Waldorf Astoria Towers apartment in New York City.

Nicki Swift reported that Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on Sept. 19, 2016, citing "irreconcilable differences." The actress also requested full custody of their six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

Hopefully, wherever Jolie and her family decide to move, the transition to a new home–and the start of a new life–will go easily enough for not only the celebrities but also their many children.
