The Chainsmokers, Florida Georgia Line To Perform Together At 2017 CMT Awards

Get ready, country music fans. The CMT Music Awards are headed your way, and they're going to rock.

Page Six reports that both the Chainsmokers and Florida Georgia Line are scheduled to perform together at the 2017 awards show. It's likely that the two groups will take the stage to sing the Chainsmokers' song, "Last Day Alive," on which Florida Georgia Line was featured.

And, according to Rolling Stone, they're not the only acts set to perform a collaboration. Lady Antebellum will reportedly sing with Earth, Wind & Fire, and Carrie Underwood will team up with Keith Urban to perform their song, "The Fighter." But don't expect the same old song from Underwood and Urban—the Australian singer said they are going to do "a different take" on the popular single.

Of course, the CMT Awards has a few other performers lined up, including Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, and Luke Bryan.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Nashville actor Charles Esten will host the big event, which airs June 7 at 8 p.m. EST.
