Shia LaBeouf Curses Out Arresting Police Officers In New Body Cam Footage

The Transformers star did not go quietly as police arrested him on July 8, 2017. In fact, he made a pretty big scene.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Shia LaBeouf was arrested for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and obstruction in Georgia. And now, police body camera footage has been shared with the public, showing the actor's explicit-laden language as authorities escorted him out of a hotel and into the back of a cop car.

"I have rights. I'm an American. You got me arrested in my hotel for doing what, sir?" a handcuffed LaBeouf, 31, states in the video, shared by TMZ. "I'm a f***ing American. I pay taxes. Get this s**t off my f***ing arms."

WJCL 22 reports that LaBeouf ran from police after he repeatedly failed to comply with their order to leave an area in front of a Wild Wings Café in City Market around 4 a.m. Prior to his arrest, LaBeouf had reportedly asked an officer for a cigarette. When the officer couldn't lend him a smoke, LaBeouf allegedly started acting aggressively, prompting an officer to make an arrest. But before the officer could arrest him, LaBeouf ran to the Andaz Hotel.

Police soon apprehended the former Disney Channel star at the hotel, where he continued to act belligerently towards the cops.

"Who are you fighting for?" LaBeouf later asked an officer while in the back of a police car. "You got a president who don't give a f**k about you, and you're stuck in a police force who doesn't give a f**k about you. So you want to arrest white people who give a f**k? Who ask for cigarettes?"

He continued, "I came up to you trying to be nice, you stupid b***h. I came up to you asking for a cigarette, you dumb f**k. Why would I ask for a cigarette if I was racist, you stupid b***h?"

LaBeouf also seemed to threaten the police officers with a lawsuit, shouting, "They got cameras everywhere, you dummy. I've got more millionaire lawyers than you know what to do with."

According to Page Six, LaBeouf was released from jail after posting a $7,000 bond.
