Pink Releases New Single, Announces Beautiful Trauma Album

Get excited, pop music fanatics — Pink is back!

The singer took to Instagram late Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 to announce some huge music news. "I could not be more excited right now," Pink wrote in her post. "My single comes out today 'What About Us' and my new album Beautiful Trauma comes out October 13th." We told you to get excited!

Pink also shared the album art for the upcoming Beautiful Trauma, which features the songstress rocking a bedazzled white gown, cool shades, and massive hoop earrings in front of a broken-down gas station.

"I'm certifiably, insanely proud of this album," the "Try" singer continued. "It's been a while, and I'm grateful for all the years we've had. Looking forward to the next chapter with you."

The 37-year-old's last musical output was her shared March 2017 feature with Sia on Stargate's "Waterfall." The fall release of Beautiful Trauma will mark the pop star's seventh studio album — and the first since 2012's smash hit The Truth About Love

The love and support of Pink's new single immediately began pouring in from fans on social media, and the singer took to Twitter Thursday morning, Aug. 10, to respond to several messages with grateful strings of emojis.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, the "Raise Your Glass" singer made headlines earlier this summer when she got stuck inside an elevator with her daughter, Willow Hart, before her first show in four years.

The two thankfully weren't trapped for long, and Pink later took to Instagram to celebrate her comeback show. "I'm so glad that first show is over. Haha," she wrote. "After four years, it's always a little nerve wracking to start it up again. But I got one look at your faces and my heart filled with love. This is us celebrating the fact that I only rolled my ankle once and only forgot the words to four songs. #grateful."

We're glad to see this new musical milestone is going a bit more smoothly!
