Report: Serena Williams To Wed Fiance Alexis Ohanian In New Orleans Ceremony

The tennis champ is going to be a bride!

Page Six reports that Serena Williams is set to marry fiancé Alexis Ohanian in New Orleans on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2017. The ceremony will reportedly take place at the Contemporary Arts Center.

According to Page Six's sources, details of the wedding have been kept under wraps from everyone—including Williams and Ohanian's own guests! The celeb news site notes that guests will be picked up by cars on Thursday morning and taken to the wedding location.

Williams' friends Ciara, Kelly Rowland, La La Anthony, Eva Longoria, and Meghan Markle, as well as sister Venus, are likely attend the big event. People adds that major stars like Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Kris Jenner may also fly in to see Williams wed the Reddit co-founder.

Unfortunately, don't expect to see photos from Williams' big day on social media. The athlete's reportedly signed a deal with Vogue, who will, presumably, release exclusive photos after the wedding.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Williams celebrated her bachelorette party on Nov. 3, so it'd only make sense for her wedding date to follow so closely behind. During the fun-filled weekend, Williams and her friends reportedly kicked off their festivities at New York City's Baccarat Hotel, before traveling around the city in a party bus, drinking and dancing, and later scheduling spa treatments.

Williams, 36, and Ohanian, 34, began dating in 2015 before getting engaged in December 2016. After accidentally revealing her pregnancy in April, Williams gave birth to their daughter, named Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., on Sept. 1.

While we wait to hear all the details about Williams' highly anticipated wedding, read up on everything you need to know about her fiancé.
