Report: Glee Star Naya Rivera Arrested
The actress was taken into custody on the night of Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017.
Local news station WSAZ reported that Naya Rivera was arrested around 9:30 p.m. in Kanawha County, W. Va. Police had been called to her home for a "domestic situation." Once there, cops spoke with Rivera's husband, Ryan Dorsey, who claimed that the 30-year-old had hit him on the head and the bottom lip while they'd been taking a walk with their son, Josey—and he allegedly had video footage to prove it.
According to E! News, Rivera was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.
After being arrested on Saturday night, Rivera, who starred as Santana Lopez on the hit Fox series Glee, was arraigned the next day sometime after 12 a.m. She was soon released on $1000 bond, and her father-in-law reportedly picked her up from the courthouse.
Early on Nov. 26, WCHS reporter Kalea Gunderson shared a video of Rivera in a courtroom on Twitter.

Rivera and Dorsey married in July 2014, shortly after her breakup with former fiancé Big Sean. She later filed for divorce from her husband in late November 2016. However, in October 2017, Rivera called off their separation, filing for the dismissal of her divorce docs.
"She is back together with Ryan Dorsey," a source told E! News at the time. "They want to make it work for the sake of their son."
