Celebs Who Can't Stand Lindsay Lohan

Hyde was the hottest club in Los Angeles in the mid-2000s, which happened to be the golden age of the "celebutante." Young, often blonde women famous for being the offspring of barons of industry had very little problem with paparazzi snapping photos of them as they left the club. It was at Hyde in May 2006 when the long-running feud between definitive celebutante Paris Hilton and club-hopping actress (and fellow paparazzi subject) Lindsay Lohan began.

The two women got into a confrontation, according to The Atlantic, over Lohan's hanging around with Hilton's ex-boyfriend, Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos. A couple of weeks later, oil heir Brandon Davis delivered an off-the-cuff tirade to TMZ in which he theorized about the nature of Lohan's genitals in profane and crude detail. Hilton appeared in the video, laughing uproariously throughout. More public sparring occurred, but by the end of the year, Hilton and Lohan are friendly enough to be sat beside each other. It was but a tenuous peace that fizzled over the years.

In 2019, Hilton appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and was petitioned by the host to say three nice things about her former friend. Hilton instead called Lohan "beyond, lame, and embarrassing."

While you might've expected Lindsay Lohan to materialize as a costume-clad performer on The Masked Singer, she instead landed a gig as one of the judges on the show's Australian iteration. The American Lohan often seemed to have no clue as to the identities of the unmasked Australian celebs. According to Paper, she "smiled awkwardly and gave a detectable shrug" when an octopus was revealed to be Big Brother Australia host Gretel Kileen. According to local publication New Idea, producers fired Lohan at the end of the season. A source close to the show alleged, "She is being replaced."

After shooting wrapped, one contestant revealed his annoyance with Lohan on his last episode. "I was at the back and I was waiting to come out," contestant and former soccer star Wendell Sailor told The Kyle and Jackie O Show (via Daily Mail) that he was about to head out on stage to perform in his hot and heavy rhino costume, only to hear that Lohan was hungry and production was halted. "It was like an hour break!" Sailor opined. That corroborates the complaint of another Masked Singer judge, Dave Hughes, who claimed that Lohan's lengthy smoke breaks would halt production for indefinite periods. According to the Daily Mail, he noted that one rehearsal eventually proceeded without Lohan, because they weren't sure if she was ever going to return.

Kate Moss was the "It Girl" of the early '90s, one of the most extremely recognizable and sought after supermodels and fashion icons of the era. Approximately a decade later, Lindsay Lohan invited in the same sort of attention and public fascination as the young star of the moment. They also apparently have the same taste in guys, and that, for Moss, was a problem. Moss' husband Jamie Hince, one-half of the indie rock group The Kills, worked with Lohan on some music in 2013 (which apparently never materialized), according to The Sun.

The following year, when Lohan temporarily moved to London to star in a production of the play Speed-the-Plow, The Sun claimed she looked up Hince — and Moss was not cool with that. Soon thereafter, Lohan and Moss ran into each other at the Chiltern Firehouse restaurant. "The argument went on for a while and Kate seemed extremely annoyed with Lindsay for contacting Jamie," an insider reportedly told The Sun. "She was ranting about it to a fellow diner at the restaurant."

In 2012, Lindsay Lohan starred in a movie about celebrities whose scandalous offscreen lives rivaled that of Lohan's. Titled Liz & Dick, the made-for-Lifetime flick featured Lohan as the eight-times married Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor. Grant Bowler portrayed Dick, or rather Richard Burton, a heavy drinker and marvelous actor who accounted for two of Taylor's marriages. Critics were not kind to Liz & Dick, and shooting the thing was as annoying to make as it was for film writers to watch.

"There were exercises in patience and there were exercises in tolerance," Bowler said of his experience acting alongside Lohan to Access Hollywood Live. "I believe it could have been smoother at times," he continued, confirming that Lohan's production stalling habits got him occasionally angry. The star diplomatically stated, "We certainly took our time in a lot of ways when I would have preferred to be shooting." Overall, Bowler said he had to operate from the mindset of "whether we could knuckle down and get a film made." They did, but just barely.

Musician and DJ Samantha Ronson dated Lindsay Lohan from 2008 to 2010, and photographers dutifully followed everywhere they went to document the relationship. Ronson didn't much care for the constant invasion of privacy. "I scowl in pictures because I don't want a f***ing camera in my face," Ronson told The Daily Beast, which cited her "penchant for raising a middle finger in defiance."

After the end of the romance with Lohan, Ronson remained hesitant to speak directly about it, choosing to let her music do the talking. "I didn't want to make a record where people would say, 'This song is about that.' But I think there's also a way to keep things specific and private without losing a connection with the listener," she said, hinting that certain material on her album Chasing the Reds was absolutely about Lohan.

The song "Sometimes When You Win, You Lose" includes lyrics like "And we started this war on the same side / Now I feel just like a hostage in the room / But I'm trying to find a way out alive." Not exactly a glowing assessment of a former flame, but should people guess that Ronson is referring to Lohan? "Maybe they'd be right. Maybe they'd be wrong," she mused. "I wrote that song when I was with the person that it's about." Gosh, that's even more heartbreaking.

Let's be real, okay? Celebrity gossip ultimately boils down to one overriding question: What celebrities have slept with each other? In 2014, after providing the entertainment news industry with a full decade's worth of salacious stories relating to clubbing, not wearing underwear in public, drinking heavily, and getting arrested, Lohan gave the world exactly what it wanted.

In Touch Weekly alleged that Lohan made a handwritten list of every bedroom partner she ever had — which included mostly the names of famous people. Among the 36 names on the list reported to be Lohan's were James Franco and photographer Terry Richardson.

Lohan later confirmed ownership of the list on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (via Los Angeles Times), saying she'd made the list as "the fifth step" in her Alcoholics Anonymous recovery. Franco and Richardson, however, didn't quite understand why they were on the list of Lohan's conquests. Franco told The Howard Stern Show (via The Independent) that he only made out with the actress and "it was such a long time ago." He continued, saying, "I swear on my mother's life that I did not have sex with her." Richardson likewise denied having been intimate with the star. "Somehow she said we spent a romantic night making love at the Chateau Marmont," Richardson told The Cut. "Which never happened. Then, on the internet, people are like, 'He did this and that.' But it is totally untrue."
