Kimberly Guilfoyle has dated her fair share of eligible bachelors. The former prosecutor and co-host of the Fox News show The Five has been married (and divorced) twice, although she doesn't seem to be too emotionally scarred from either of those relationships since she's already publicly touting the idea of a third husband (we'll go into those details later).
The newest men on Guilfoyle's public dating profile include former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci and Donald Trump Jr. (who she's been dating since 2018). When it came to her marital roster, Guilfoyle selected former San Francisco mayor (and current California governor), Gavin Newsom, as her first-round pick in 2001. That marriage looked pretty solid on the outside with Harper's Bazaar even dubbing the pair "the New Kennedys" and calling their courtship "one of the most glamorous political unions since Jack and Jackie" at the time (via The Washington Post). But, we now know there were issues beneath the surface that led to the couple's divorce in 2006. After the split, rumors began swirling that Newsom had an affair with his then-campaign manager's wife, Ruby Rippey-Tourk. He later admitted to the previously referenced "personal lapse of judgment" in 2007 (via Los Angeles Times).
Guilfoyle's second marriage was to a hunky dark-haired furniture heir named Eric Villency. Guilfoyle got her first (and only child) out of her second husband — albeit that marriage didn't last, either. Why did her second marriage bite the dust? Let's take a look.

Before we dig into the dirty details of this romance, you should first know a few things about Kimberly Guilfoyle's second ex-husband since he's not connected to politics, and Guilfoyle seems wildly attracted to that type. Eric Villency isn't a president's son and may not have "governor" on his resume, but he's still handsome and has some decently impressive credentials making him bachelor-worthy on paper.
For starters, Villency hails from a family of entrepreneurial blood. His grandfather started the Maurice Villency furniture chain in 1932, which his father eventually took over prior to handing it down to him in 1998, according to Forbes. Guilfoyle's second hubby credits his hard-working grandfather with rubbing his "infectious" love for design off on him. "I loved to hear him talk about not only his furniture and the art he made, but also the artists and designers he admired," Villency gushed to the magazine.
The family furniture company was eventually rebranded as the Villency Design Group, and it's pretty safe to say that Eric's been successful at running it. He's not only completed projects for various airports and Citi Field, but he's also designed a Soul Cycle bike and exercise bike for Peloton. Did we mention that Men's Health dubbed the Peloton bike as the "best Cardio Machine on the planet" in 2015 (via Forbes)? We told you the dude had some decent credentials. Who wouldn't want to date this guy?
Kimberly Guilfoyle's relationship moved at record speed
Kimberly Guilfoyle didn't waste much time on the singles market after splitting from her politician ex-husband Gavin Newsom. She met Eric Villency on a blind date that same year and went full steam ahead with her younger new beau without looking back. Here's how it all went down.
"The couple met on a blind date last October and were engaged by Christmas, but kept the romance a secret until February, when Kimberly's divorce from San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom was finalized," dished a May 2006 People article. If you do the math, there wasn't much downtime between Guilfoyle's two marriages. It's also safe to say that it wasn't the best timing for her or Villency to start a serious new relationship, as he was getting over make-up maven Olivia de Chantecaille at the same time she was rebounding from Newsom, according to Page Six.
We can speculate that it was the couple's good looks or perhaps their shared love for modeling that brought them together. In Guilfoyle's pre-attorney and news anchor days, she "modeled for Macy's, Nordstrom, Victoria's Secret and 'all the big stores' while in law school to help pay the bills," revealed Women's Wear Daily. Villency also dabbled in that arena. According to the booking agency All American Entertainment Speakers, the furniture heir "maintains a deep connection to the fashion world" even to the present day.
Whatever pushed them onto a fast track romance worked. For a little while, at least.
A wedding and a baby for Kimberly Guilfoyle
A 37-year-old Kimberly Guilfoyle already had one failed marriage to add to her resume when she took the plunge for a second time with Eric Villency in May 2006. Slow and steady obviously wasn't on this pair's agenda though, as they wed just one year into the courtship.
The couple went with a swanky St. James, Barbados resort with a Nazarene minister officiating the nuptials for their big day. A now-known fact is that Guilfoyle was already five months pregnant with Villency's child when she walked down the aisle at her destination wedding, according to the New York Post (via People). A source told the outlet the pregnancy "was the worst-kept secret in town" at the time. Pregnant bellies can be hard to hide, though, so we're not sure why Guilfoyle wasn't given a little more slack on those comments. The same source also refuted anyone's claims that the marriage was a shotgun attempt to unite before the baby arrived, declaring, "The wedding was planned long before she learned she was with child."
However, there was no hiding that breaking news for long. The duo's son, Ronan Anthony, was born in October 2006, just five months after their big day, according to Town and Country). We hope they enjoyed that extra brief newlywed phase — because it didn't last long.
Another one bites the dust
Kimberly Guilfoyle's marriage to Eric Villency ended in 2009, per Page Six. It's safe to say that she hasn't had the best luck when it comes to her marriages. Her first union only lasted five years, and her second marriage wound up having less longevity than the first, despite the fact that she had a child with hubby number two.
There are very few details out there about why her three-year marriage to Villency didn't work out. However, we can say that the breakup appeared to be amicable. The exes had a signed prenuptial agreement in place and were "vowing to remain friends" while sharing joint custody of a then 2-year-old Ronan (via Page Six).
Guilfoyle seems to be a mover and shaker, though, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that she managed to keep it moving when her marriage to Villency ended. In a 2015 interview with Mediaite, she said, "As with most things, put all your effort in. And don't be afraid to say perhaps this isn't working." She gave us another look into her way of thinking in a 2018 interview with The Washington Post, where she said, "I am always changing and doing stuff ... Grass doesn't grow too long under my feet. I'm on the move."
Her 'girlishly sophisticated' bachelorette pad
Kimberly Guilfoyle didn't waste any time (or money) finding some swanky new digs when she split from Eric Villency. According to Variety, she purchased a $1.3 million "high-glam bachelorette pad" on the 11th floor of a full-service co-op building in New York City right after their split in July 2009.
Variety described the pad as "girlishly sophisticated" with "tons of high-grade finishes, cute crystal doorknobs and numerous glittery chandeliers including a Sputnik-style stunner in the living room similar to those that glimmer gloriously in the lobby of the Metropolitan Opera House." The home boasted ten closets, a dry bar, and it basically sounds like every divorced woman's dream. According to a previously referenced source, when it came to a budget for her new digs, money was apparently no object, as the taxes and maintenance fees were $2,464 a month alone on the place.
Guilfoyle didn't hunker down in her new bachelorette pad for long, though. According to Variety, she only kept her rebound home for three years before putting it back on the market, relisting it for a sizable profit ($1,595,000). Isn't that the same amount of time she kept her second ex-husband?
She leaves no friend behind (including ex-husbands)
Loyalty is apparently a big thing for Kimberly Guilfoyle — even when it comes to exes. The former television anchor is still "very close" with her furniture heir ex's family, despite the fact that they've been divorced for years, as revealed by Mediaite. "Even when people don't stay married, they can still be a family together," Guilfoyle told the outlet. "When you go through divorce with children you don't make it about you, make it about that child," she added.
Guilfoyle went on to bless us with her thoughts on faithfulness in the interview, saying, "With marriages, people can take the easy way out and grow apart. Or you can show respect and loyalty and that's what I've tried to do in all my relationships." She also added that she "leave[s] no friend behind."
"I work hard and strive to give time to people in my life who've counted on me in the past. I like to be your best friend, toughest advocate," she told the outlet.

Will Eric Villency be her last husband?
With two failed marriages under her belt, you'd think the idea of another husband would be a no-go for Guilfoyle, but apparently, that isn't the case. According to Page Six, the long-haired brunette "is not opposed to a third marriage." In fact, the same publication spied the 50-year-old girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr. "checking out wedding dresses" at Bridal Fashion Week in the Big Apple in April 2019. However, it's not what you think. Despite the event usually being attended by women actually in the wedding dress market, you didn't miss any engagement announcements. Yet.
Guilfoyle told Women's Wear Daily (somewhat awkwardly) at the event that she does not have an engagement ring from Donald Trump Jr. "No rings, not today, not today, yes indeed," Guilfoyle told the publication. When the reporter asked her if attending the event "is just asking for trouble," Guilfoyle replied, "I hope good trouble — loads of white trouble" and added that she's a "super romantic at heart."
"I believe in great love, so I always have my heart open and my calendar available," Guilfoyle told the same source. We wonder if Donald Trump Jr. has the same availability on his calendar? Regardless of who will propose to Guilfoyle next, maybe the old saying that the third times a charm will ring true for this starlet. Stay tuned on that one.
