Does Brad Pitt Have A Higher Net Worth Than Angelina Jolie?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have become international superstars in their own right. Each has paved legendary careers as film icons, starring in award-winning blockbusters like Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Fight Club, Maleficent, and we can't forget their action-romance flick, Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

At one point during their careers, Pitt and Jolie were known as one of Hollywood's strongest and most successful couples. Not only were the ex-lovers staples in showbiz, but the Troy actor and the Girl, Interrupted actress were also key figures in activism. Many times throughout their relationship, Pitt and Jolie championed causes important to their hearts.

It seems like just yesterday when fans were swooning over Brangelina's once-fairytale romance, but the stars have gone down different paths since parting ways in 2016. Fortunately, the two are still very much active in Hollywood and continue to maintain their status as some of showbiz's hottest stars.

With each having extremely impressive film résumés, it's difficult to determine whether Pitt or Jolie is more successful. But who has a higher net worth? Keep scrolling to find out.

Brad Pitt's net worth will make your jaw drop

Considering Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have both been acting in Hollywood for the last four decades, it's no surprise the two have earned big bank accounts. According to Celebrity Net Worth, though, Pitt has a little bit more money than his former wife. And by a little, we mean an astronomical amount.

The outlet reports that the Ad Astra actor is worth an estimated $300 million. Jolie, on the other hand, has earned less than half of that, as she's worth nearly $120 million. It appears both of their net worths have decreased since their split as Forbes reported Pitt earned more than $315 million while Jolie had taken home about $239 million prior to 2016.

Having that much money to your name is surely something to be proud of. Pitt started making the big bucks after he rose to fame in the 1980s. Following his roles in Thelma and Louise, A River Runs Through It, 12 Monkeys, and Seven, he acted opposite Edward Norton in the hit 1999 film Fight Club.

Pitt's career has been nothing but a complete success since. Aside from starring in other famous films like Inglourious Basterds, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and World War Z, Pitt has countless credits for producing. His production company Plan B Entertainment, which he founded in 2001, has created Troy, The Departed, The Time Traveler's Wife, Eat Pray Love, and many more (via RepublicWorld.com).

Long were the days of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Many recognize Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for their critically acclaimed acting skills, but diehard fans remember the days when Brangelina was in love. The Oscar winners established one of the most high-profile romances in Hollywood, as well as secured the spot for having one of the sweetest families.

Pitt and Jolie's relationship goes way back to the early 2000s. The stars met while portraying lovers on the set of the spy thriller Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004, and even though the actor was still married to his first wife, Jennifer Aniston, the two later admitted they "fell in love" (via The New York Times).

After Pitt and Aniston went their separate ways in 2005, the heartthrob and Jolie confirmed their romance when they announced they were expecting their first child together in 2006 (via Glamour). Together, they raised Shiloh, and their twins, Knox and Vivienne, as well as their adopted children, Maddox, Zahara, and Pax, and they eventually married in 2014.

Just as things seemed to be perfect for Pitt and Jolie, the lovebirds shocked the world when they announced their divorce in August 2016. According to the couple's lawyer, Robert Offer, Jolie filed for divorce after making the decision for "the health of the family" (via Glamour). Though it's been nearly five years since they called it quits, Pitt and Jolie have yet to finalize their divorce, Us Weekly reported.
