Kim Kardashian hosted “Saturday Night Live” in October 2021, and shared a quick stage kiss with Pete Davidson in a sketch where they played Jasmine and Aladdin. Though not their first meeting, the kiss was clearly the beginning of something, as the “KUWTK” star said on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, “It was a stage kiss, but it was still like a little zing, you know?”
trips to Staten Island
The couple became official in November 2021, and an insider told E! News that Kim was “trying not to make a big deal about it but is super into him.” Per Kardashian’s idea, the pair visited Davidson’s hometown in Staten Island that same month, which the SKIMS founder greatly enjoyed due to the lack of crowds and low-key vibe.
Pete’s birthday
For Pete Davidson’s 28th birthday (also that November), Kim Kardashian hosted him at Kris Jenner’s Palm Springs home, where they were joined by none other than Flavor Flav. The rapper later posted an adorable picture of the four of them, with the caption, “Celebrating my adopted son Pete Davidson’s birthday wit the legendz [Kim Kardashian] and [Kris Jenner].”
They went to the Bahamas
Kardashian and Davidson took a vacation to the Bahamas in early January 2022, and it was apparently stressful to plan since Kardashian’s ex-husband Ye, aka Kanye West, was still pursuing her to an uncomfortable degree. Allegedly, West found out the new couple was planning to visit the Dominican Republic, so the destination was changed last minute to avoid running into him.
They hit up Jeff Bezos’ party
In late January 2022, the couple attended a dinner party at Jeff Bezos’ house, where friends close to Kim noticed that in her new relationship she seemed genuinely happy, “acting like a teenager” and “constantly giggling.” Kardashian herself attributed the success of the relationship to the fact that she didn’t plan for it, which “makes it that much sweeter and so much more fun.”
