Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were bound to form a friendship during the four years they spent together filming the “Twilight” movies. Stewart and Lautner appeared in many interviews side-by-side, and at one time, Stewart said, “When I don't see Taylor for a while I take out my phone and call him [...] We get along together.”
Since "Twilight," these two actors have gone in different directions, but they've remained besties. On June 6, 2022, Stewart posted big news on Instagram about her new paranormal TV series, and Lautner excitedly commented, “LETS GOOOO!!!!!”. She also invited him to the premiere of her film "American Ultra," saying, "I love Taylor. He's one of my boys."
Lautner has said, “Kristen is fantastic at everything she does. I’m always proud of her," and some interviewers have used the stars' friendship to tease Lautner. In 2011, he was asked if his girlfriend Lily Collins' movie "Mirror Mirror" or Stewart's film “Snow White and the Huntsman” movie was better, to which Lautner simply said, “They’re so different.”
