BACKLASH AGAINST KIM KARDASHIAN'S MET GALA LOOK IS HEATING UP AGAIN

Kim Kardashian is still getting flack for her 2022 Met Gala ensemble. Kardashian wore Marilyn Monroe's iconic "Happy Birthday Mr. President" gown, and many Internet denizens are furious that Kim essentially messed with a historical artifact — but now the fire is coming from a much more powerful source.
Kardashian is officially being dragged by one of the original designers of Monroe's dress. Bob Mackie, who created the sketch for the famous gown, told Entertainment Tonight, "I thought it was a big mistake. [Marilyn] was a goddess. [...] It was designed for her. Nobody else should be seen in that dress."
However, Nick Woodhouse, president of the group in charge of Monroe's estate, told TMZ that Monroe would've been "thrilled" to have seen Kardashian wear the dress. Woodhouse may not know that for sure, but we know that both Kardashian and Monroe sure have a talent for getting people talking.
