BLAC CHYNA'S LAWYER GOT A NOT-SO-SUBTLE ROASTING FROM PETE DAVIDSON
By NICOLE CORD-CRUZ
Pete Davidson unexpectedly showed up to the Blac Chyna defamation trial on April 28, in an apparent show of support to his girlfriend Kim Kardashian and her family. Chyna, formerly engaged to Rob Kardashian, is suing the family for harming her career by canceling the reality show "Rob & Chyna," among other things.
A Nicki Swift reporter who attended court spotted Davidson in the back row on the Kardashian family's side, and the "SNL" star mostly kept to himself in the courtroom, only interacting with the Kardashians when approached. However, Davidson inadvertently roasted Chyna's lawyer after she made an objection.
Kim's lawyer, Michael G. Rhodes, asked Chyna a series of pressing questions, and Lynne Ciani, Chyna's lawyer, shot up from her seat and shouted, "Your honor, I object!" The judge, without missing a beat, replied "overruled," earning a big chuckle and wide grin from Davidson. A dramatic day in Kardashian Kourt, indeed!
