CARRIE UNDERWOOD'S HUSBAND'S RELATABLE REACTION TO HER CMT PERFORMANCE

Carrie Underwood became the most decorated CMT awardee of all time in 2017, and at the 2022 show, she took home her 25th award. She's committed to pushing her career to new heights, and a stunt she pulled at the 2022 ceremony was jaw-dropping — especially for her husband, Mike Fisher.
Underwood took her CMT performance of "Ghost Story" to another level by raising high into the alongside her aerialists, much to the crowd's delight. However, Mike Fisher watched with bated breath, and told Entertainment Tonight how he felt about his wife's gravity-defying lift above the stage.
Fisher joked that he was "a bit nervous": "I watched some of the [performance] when she first started to do it, but I mean that was crazy." Unfortunately for Mike's nerves, Carrie loves taking risks in the name of artistry: "I love a challenge," the "American Idol" winner told Kelley Bannen in March 2022.
