Taylor Swift’s parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, have consistently presented a united front for their daughter. However, the duo is now officially separated.

Ronnie Cremer, who claims to have taught Swift how to play guitar, told the New York Daily News that her parents had a loveless marriage even before the singer became famous.

“(Scott) used to tell me... ‘I got a wife that doesn’t love me. I’m trying to [...] do all the right things, and my wife could care less,’” Cremer further revealed.

In 2012, a source told The Star that Scott and Andrea had “stopped wearing their wedding rings,” but chose to keep their separation discreet to protect their daughter’s career.

Two years later, the duo appeared to still be at a crossroads. A source told Page Six that Swift’s parents “are not on the same page and don't even like to be in the same room.”

However, it seems Scott and Andrea have managed to rekindle their friendship, as they were spotted together multiple times at “The Eras Tour” in 2023.
