ED HELMS GETS CANDID ON WHETHER THERE WILL BE A THE OFFICE REUNION

"The Office" was already an iconic, beloved comedy series before a deluge of new Gen Z fans discovered it via Netflix. With a lot of buzz around the show — perhaps more so than when it originally aired — fans old and new are wondering if an "Office" reunion will ever happen, and series star Ed Helms has spoken out about the possibility.
On "The View," Helms unfortunately confirmed that there's no "Office" reunion in sight. He revealed that the show's cast members stay in contact with each other, but they don't talk about reuniting: "it doesn't come up very often [...] maybe somebody's working on it behind the scenes, but I haven't heard it."
Perhaps fans shouldn't give up hope; televised reunions are a trend right now, with stars from "Harry Potter" and "Friends" joining together for high-profile TV specials. Given "The Office" cast's friendship, maybe Ed Helms or one of his co-stars will have more promising things to say about a reunion in the near future.
