JENNIFER ANISTON IS MOURNING A TRAGIC LOSS
By MAXINE PAGE
In November 2019, Jennifer Aniston began co-starring in "The Morning Show" alongside Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell, and the series is both critically and commercially successful. Aniston has formed close bonds with the cast and crew that make the show special, and tragically, she is now mourning the loss of a co-worker.
Erik Gunnar Mortensen, camera assistant on "The Morning Show," was killed in an accident after crashing his motorbike on a California highway. He is survived by his wife Keely and their 2-year-old son, Lars. Aniston penned a tribute to Mortensen on her Instagram Story, calling him "One of the bright lights on our @themorningshow set."
"As camera assistant, he was so skilled and dedicated to his job," Aniston continued, including some sweet photos of Mortensen with his family. A GoFundMe page in Mortensen's honor has raised over $130,000 at the time of publication; one donor wrote, "Will miss you, Gunnar, hoping for the best for your family. We're already worse off without you."
