MICK JAGGER'S BLUNT COMMENTS ABOUT HARRY STYLES ARE CAUSING A STIR
By JACOB PITTS
During his solo career, Harry Styles has been compared to the Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger due to similarities in their appearances, music, stage presence, and boundary-pushing fashions. Styles has called Jagger an inspiration and the "coolest man on the planet," but what does the legendary rocker think about his younger "counterpart?"
Mick Jagger discussed some supposed similarities he shares with Styles, and shot down every item on the list. "I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him," Jagger told The Times. "I was more androgynous." It seems Jagger isn't impressed by Styles' gender non-conforming style, as he himself already did it decades ago.
Jagger went on to say that Styles "doesn't have a voice like mine or move on stage like me." However, even if Jagger isn't a fan of the comparisons, it doesn't mean he isn't a fan of Styles; in 2015, the rock legend told The Press, "[Harry's] got it going on. I know him, he comes to see me in lots of shows. [...] I like him."
