NENE LEAKES HEATS UP ANDY COHEN LAWSUIT FEUD WITH NEW CLAIMS
By KATHLEEN WALSH
In April of 2022, NeNe Leakes of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" filed a discrimination lawsuit against Bravo, NBC, and Bravo host Andy Cohen. Leakes alleged that "NBC, Bravo, and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not, encouraged."
Leakes' suit accuses her former costar, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, of utilizing racist remarks, stereotypes, and slurs for many years, which Bravo and Cohen let slide. The lawsuit also alleges that production never addressed Leakes' complaints and instead gave Zolciak-Biermann her own spinoff show, while Leakes was forced off of "RHOA" for speaking out.
Now, Leakes is taking to social media to turn up the heat against Cohen. On August 9, 2022, Leakes updated her on Twitter bio to read, "Blacklisted for telling the truth and not wanting to be abused anymore"; in a tweet on August 10, the "RHOA" star reasserted that Cohen and associates have her blacklisted, saying, "They stop every job opportunity that comes my way."
In another tweet, Leakes hinted that she has incriminating evidence against Cohen. "He stopped me from working because I was a threat to his career! Yet he was able to abuse me for years," she wrote. "I want to release these voice recordings so bad." In June, Leakes even teased an upcoming memoir that is likely to be filled with more details.
