OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN'S HEARTBREAKING LAST POST ON INSTAGRAM

Beloved actor and musician Olivia Newton-John died on August 8, 2022 at the age of 73. Her husband John Easterling wrote on Facebook that his wife passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, and also honored her struggle with breast cancer and activism for breast cancer awareness — and Newton-John's final Instagram post honors her husband back.
On August 5, Newton-John posted a photo of herself and her husband embracing and smiling together, simply captioning the snap "Flashback Friday." Fans gushed over the photo, with one commenting, "You two make the perfect couple," and another adding, "Beautiful photo! I'm sending you wishes for continued good health. I'm keeping you in my prayers."
Newton-John almost always used her Instagram for activism, so it's a bittersweet surprise that her final post was dedicated to her husband. Throughout their marriage, Newton-John called Easterling as "the love of my life" and "the man of my dreams," and he notably helped her heal and fall in love again after her traumatic 1995 divorce from Matt Lattanzi.
