By ANDY SCOTT and PHIL ARCHBOLD
High-Profile Debut
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt made a big public debut in June 2006, when the first official photos of her were featured in People magazine and London-based Hello! magazine. It was rumored that People paid a record-setting $4.1 million for the baby photos, and the money from the sale was said to be donated to charity.
Place Of Birth
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie welcomed Shiloh on May 27, 2006 in Namibia; the two stars traveled to the African country to avoid paparazzi. The Associated Press reports that staff “put tight security around their hotel and the hospital,” and the police even “arrested photographers and confiscated film.”

Jolie has revealed that giving birth to Shiloh inspired her humanitarian efforts. Jolie knew she would require a C-section in Namibia because she had an ultrasound taken, but many women in the same hospital could not afford an ultrasound; she raised awareness of this fact and advocated for solutions.
her Personality
Jolie has said that "Shiloh’s hysterically funny, one of the goofiest, most playful people." The actor confessed she was a lot like Shiloh growing up because she was "Goofy and verbal [...] the early signs of a performer," and added that this side of her personality came back once she had children.
Shiloh’s Nickname
Brad Pitt revealed to Oprah Winfrey that at just two and a half years old, Shiloh wanted to be called John. Pitt said, "She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it's a Peter Pan thing [...] it's just that kind of stuff that's cute to parents, and it's probably really obnoxious to other people."
