THE KARDASHIANS' NEW SHOW IS GETTING MIXED REVIEWS
By FABIO MAGNOCAVALLO
"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" ended in 2021, but the Kardashian clan isn't ready to give up on reality TV. Hulu's "The Kardashians" premiered on April 14, 2022, and the titular family's reason for producing the series is causing controversy before the show has truly begun.
"Momager" Kris Jenner revealed that her family chose to return to reality TV for financial reasons: "Money always matters," she told Variety. "The Kardashians" promises a more "documentary-style" look at the family, but a new vibe wasn't enough to quiet critics on social media.
Some fans loved the first episode of the show, with one user tweeting "That was f**king epic. looking forward to this entire season!!" However, another user wrote, "The Kardashians did this show because they don't see each other unless they're being paid is basically what they said. That's so sad."
Other critics hate that the Kardashians are getting a new show in general, financial reasons notwithstanding. "Who keeps giving the Kardashians tv shows? And why?" one user tweeted. "I promise you I couldn't give less of a damn about those boring a** rich people," another user remarked.
