Matthew Lawrence played Chris Hillard, the middle child of the family in the classic comedy “Mrs. Doubtfire”. The film was far from Lawrence's first role, but it had a huge impact on his career, which has continued into today — and dare we say the former teen heartthrob has only gotten more handsome!
The now-grown-and-gorgeous actor has said that the late Robin Williams — who played the Hillard father-turned-nanny in "Mrs. Doubtfire" — made sure Lawrence avoided the pitfalls of early stardom, such as taking up drugs. "There are moments when [his] voice prevented me from doing anything wrong," Lawrence said.
Lawrence was also known to star alongside his equally adorable and famous brothers, Joey and Andrew, and Matthew's solo roles include movies like 2002's "The Hot Chick" and his recurring role of Jack on "Boy Meets World." Matthew and his brothers can sing, too; they formed a band called Still Three in 2014.
Lawrence is also lucky in love; he met his future wife, dancer Cheryl Burke, in 2006, when his older brother Joey competed on "Dancing With the Stars." The two felt a mutual attraction right away and started dating, but ended up calling it quits in 2008 — however, they reunited in 2016 and tied the knot in 2019.
