The battle for financial and galactic supremacy between Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos has captivated many. While Musk, who oversees SpaceX, attempts to build "a spacefaring civilization," Amazon founder Bezos seeks to "expand, explore, find new energy and material resources, and move industries that stress Earth into space" with Blue Origin.

Despite their similar goals, Musk has made no qualms in clowning Bezos. “He does not seem to be willing to spend mental energy getting into the details of engineering,” Musk said about Bezos in an interview with The Financial Times.

"In some ways, I'm trying to goad him into spending more time at Blue Origin so they make more progress," Musk said. He added that Bezos “should spend more time at Blue Origin and less time in the hot tub.”
