In 2014, fans noticed that Kylie Jenner’s lips had gotten bigger, and though there was speculation that she had lip fillers, she claimed she was merely over-lining her lips with makeup. Eventually, though, Kylie came clean — and we know why she went back to a more natural look, for a time.

On "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Kylie admitted, "I have temporary lip fillers. It's just an insecurity of mine". She explained that "a guy said to me, 'Oh my God, you're such a good kisser, but you have such small lips,'" but she got over this insecurity for the sake of someone special.

In July 2018, Kylie shared an Instagram snapshot of herself alongside her best friend, Stassie Karanikolaou. A commenter remarked that she looked like "the old Kylie," to which the makeup guru responded that she "got rid of all my [lip] filler."

After having her first child, Stormi, Kylie wanted to show that a more natural look could be beautiful, to set an example for her daughter. A source explained that "During Kylie's pregnancy, she wasn't getting her usual fillers […] she was a mother first, and that is a big reason she has been sporting the more natural look."
