In December 2018, Sandra Bullock appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to discuss the 25-year anniversary of her hit action flick "Speed," where she starred alongside Keanu Reeves. Not only did Bullock acknowledge the 1994 movie launched her career, but she spoke about her attraction to her co-star.

"I think about how sweet Keanu Reeves was and how handsome he was," Bullock said. Apparently, she'd get flustered just by him looking at her, but they never dated, and she was convinced that "There was just something about me that I guess he just didn't like" — until Keanu himself clarified things.

In May 2019, Reeves also sat down with Ellen and said he had no idea Bullock had a crush on him, and that "she obviously didn't know I had a crush on her either." Ellen brought up how wild it was that the pair never dated, and Reeves slightly deflected by clarifying, "We were working." Talk about being professional.

Reeves and Bullock are still close friends who make an effort to hang out together, and they've spoken about how their friendship makes it fun to work on set. Reeves made it known that he's dating artist Alexandra Grant in November 2019, while Bullock has been with her boyfriend Bryan Randall since 2015.
