Corden VS. Patrick StewaRt

When Patrick Stewart stepped up to the podium to help present a category at London's Glamour Awards in 2010, he told co-presenter James Corden to not stand with his hands in his pockets. However, Corden immediately shot back by telling Stewart to “just f***ing get on with it.”

BAFTA Acceptance Speech

The 2008 BAFTAs saw Corden take home the Best Comedy Performance award for his role in “Gavin and Stacey,” but he wondered aloud why the show hadn't been nominated in the Best Scripted Comedy category. Instead of the audience whooping in agreement, they greeted his ungracious query with silence.

HOLLYOAKS SOAP DRAMA

Corden has slammed long-running British series “Hollyoaks” ever since he guested as Janitor Wayne back in 2000. In an interview years later, he said, "[Hollyoaks] just breeds p*****," which led star Ricky Whittle to say, “I hope he doesn't bump into us on a night out.”

OFFENDING AN ENTIRE TOWN

While being interviewed on Corden's late show in 2015, actor Lake Bell mentioned that she'd once lived in Sidcup, England as a student, causing Corden to respond “That’s not pleasant.” After Bell called Sidcup “the armpit of England,” Corden said, “It is not the armpit but it is close.”

GERVAIS vs. CORDEN

On “Horne & Corden,” James Corden often mocked Ricky Gervais and his “Office” character David Brent, which Gervais simply called “friendly teasing.” However, Gervais did take offense when Corden criticized the way he hosted the 2011 Golden Globes.
