The Struggles Renovation Island Star Bryan Baeumler Faced Off-Camera
By KAITLYN CARRERA
In a popular episode of HGTV's "Renovation Island," Bryan Baeulmer and his wife, Sarah, took on the task of renovating an island resort in the Bahamas, which didn't come easy.
Fans of the show saw those issues firsthand, and while Bryan doesn't mind talking about the struggles of renovating a property, he is more private about his personal struggles.
Despite Baeulmer's calm demeanor on the show, he shared during an annual event in Ottowa that he suffers from an anxiety disorder and agoraphobia, a fear of leaving safe spaces.
He admitted to "The Morning Show" that he’d suffered from these issues for over 15 years, calling the first few years of the show "a 24-hour-a-day panic attack."
Baeumler has been dealing with anxiety and agoraphobia for practically half his life, and had he not revealed his struggles, people would probably never know.
