Before Ivanka Trump became an advisor to her father Donald during his presidency, she was simply his daughter, whom he raised together with his first wife, Ivana. Many people wonder about Ivanka’s upbringing, including how far she got in school — and her classmates' opinions of her.
Ivanka attended boarding school as a teen, and some classmates say she wasn’t a model student… unless you mean a student who is a model. Ivanka allegedly skipped classes for modeling gigs and got up to a few other antics, but was otherwise “normal,” and graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall in 2000.
Ivanka spent two years at Georgetown University, then transferred to her father’s alma mater, the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated Cum Laude in 2004, and her peers said she “was always a good student — well prepared, poised” and “exceptionally good in real estate classes.”
Though Ivanka certainly is privileged, it takes serious work to get a 4.0 GPA in college. A certain fashion magazine editor says good for Ivanka, because she couldn’t model for squat: “If it wasn't for her dad, she would be at best a B-model trying really hard to get work[...] Ivanka seems unable to show any emotion when she's modeling.” Yikes.
