The post featured a video of him holding his guitar triumphantly before a captivated audience. Sadly, his family announced his passing on February 5, several hours after his last post.

Despite suffering from stomach cancer, Keith’s thoughts remained on his fans, which was evident from his Country Icon Award speech at the 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards show.
