TOM CRUISE HILARIOUSLY MOCKS JAMES CORDEN LEAVING HIS SHOW

On April 28, 2022, James Corden announced that his seven-year stint as "The Late Late Show's" host will come to an end, telling his audience, "This has been the hardest decision I've ever had to make." Reactions have been varied, but Tom Cruise went out of his way to roast Corden on his own show.
During his appearance on "The Late Late Show" to promote "Top Gun: Maverick," Cruise opened the door to his dressing room to tell James Corden that he was sorry the host was… fired. "I'm here for you tonight whatever you need," Cruise told Corden. "I would not have fired you."
Rolling with the joke, Corden told Cruise he'd love some money, to which Cruise said, "I told you anything, James. Don't worry." The two actually have a long-standing friendship, and Cruise even sends Corden the famous "Cruise Cake" every year, a coconut bundt cake that only very lucky celebs receive.
