What Happened To Former Olympic Athlete Marion Jones?

Marriage
Marion Jones met her future husband — shot putter C.J. Hunter — while attending the University of North Carolina. He was a track coach at the time.
The couple married in October 1998. From that point forward, Jones devoted most of her time to training and competing in international track and field events.
2000 Olympics
Jones was on the U.S. track and field team for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, where she competed in four different events.
She won gold in the 100, 200, and 4x400-meter relay, and she took home the bronze in the 4x100-meter relay and the long jump.
Motherhood
Jones dated Tim Montgomery, another Olympic athlete, for some time before they eventually had a son in 2003, Timothy "Monty" Montgomery Jr., who was born prematurely.
Jones left Montgomery and later married fellow Olympic sprinter Obadele Thompson in early 2007. They welcomed a son, Amir, before having a daughter, Eva-Marie, two years later.
Starring In An IMAX Film
Jones' achievements at the Olympics made her a media darling and she soon appeared on magazine covers and shows like "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
Her biggest foray into the media was the 2003 IMAX film "Top Speed," which documents Jones and other "uncommonly fast individuals" using visuals, CGI, and special effects.
Allegations
Jones faced allegations of steroid use throughout her career, starting in high school after she missed a drug test. She received a suspension that was later overturned.
Most notably, Jones' name came up during the 2002 BALCO scandal. She vehemently denied she used any banned substances, and she never failed a test.
