What Todd Chrisley's Life In Prison Is Really Like
By CASSIE DAIGLE
About The Prison
Todd Chrisley will spend the next decade behind bars for his money laundering crimes at the Federal Prison Camp, an all-male facility located in Pensacola, Florida.
At the facility, following their work duties — Chrisley can opt to work on-site or off-site — the inmates are offered intramural sports, music, and weekly screened movies.
While Chrisley walked out of the courtroom with a 12-year sentence, his attorney, Jay Surgent, revealed to Entertainment Tonight that it was reduced to 10 years.
The news came after reports claimed that Chrisley had exhibited good behavior and qualified under the First Step Act, designed to help reduce prison size and reward model inmates.
On an episode of “The Viall Files,” Chrisley’s daughter, Savannah, admitted that he is in the company of some high-profile prisoners, including Rick Singer.
The former reality star has also reportedly developed a fan club of sorts during his time behind bars. “He’s like the president of this place,” Savannah jokingly said.
According to Savannah, the Federal Prison Camp is akin to “adult babysitting,” but she did acknowledge some inhumane living conditions at the facility.
“Being in conditions where it's 100 degrees inside and having no air conditioning, and the prisons padlocking the ice machines,” Savannah told the Daily Mail.
