Fans have noticed the chemistry between "Scenes From a Marriage" co-stars Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac, but the two are just friends who are married to other people. Isaac is married to Elvira Lind, and Chastain's husband is Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo, who has a surprisingly illustrious background.

Passi de Preposulo is a member of an elite Italian family with a rich history, including his ancestors obtaining the Villa Tiepolo Passi estate and holding aristocratic titles. De Preposulo himself works in the fashion industry; he previously contributed to Armani and now works for the brand Moncler.

Passi de Preposulo also created a brand of Prosecco wine called Fiol, and he and Chastain met at a Paris fashion show after her Academy Award nomination for "The Help" had been announced. "[That was] probably the best day I've ever had," Chastain said in 2017, and they got married that same year.

Chastain originally wasn't interested in marriage, but her and her now-husband's connection was so strong that it altered her views. "[...] as we got to know each other, the idea of marriage shifted for me," Chastain told Wall Street Journal. "There are some things worth celebrating—and he's worth celebrating."
