Who Is Meghan Markle's Ex-Husband?

He Started at the Bottom
Trevor Engelson’s career started during high school, when he worked as a production assistant in New York City. His first job out of college was as an assistant on “Deep Blue Sea,” and he went on to produce “License To Wed,” “All About Steve,” and “Remember Me,” and he has also worked as an assistant to film literary agent Chris Donnelly.
Their Time Together
Despite being married for only two years, Trevor and Meghan dated for almost seven years before their wedding in September 2011. Engelson and Markle's nuptials happened over four days in Jamaica, with the actual wedding taking place on the third day, and the events included wheelbarrow races and drinking games.
Trevor Never Visited Her
Unlike the boyfriends and husbands of the other models, Trevor Engelson didn’t drop by to see Meghan when she was a briefcase model on “Deal Or No Deal.” She was also allegedly disappointed that Engleson didn't help her get cast in more of his projects, other than a couple of small roles.
Long Distance Failed
Meghan and Trevor got married the same year that she found success with “Suits,” which may have been harmful to their married life. While Trevor was based in LA, Meghan was in Toronto, and despite their attempts to stay connected through Skype and Facetime, their difficult situation didn’t improve.
She Dumped Him Via mail
According to “Meghan: A Hollywood Princess” by Andrew Morton, the future Duchess of Sussex dumped her ex-husband by mail after finding fame on “Suits.” He continued, “The marriage ended so abruptly that Meghan sent Trevor her diamond wedding and engagement rings back by registered mail.”
