The 2023 Amazon Prime documentary “Kelce” gives a behind-the-scenes look into NFL star Jason Kelce’s life, career, and the reasons his wife wants him to consider retirement.

At the time of filming, Jason’s wife, Kylie, was pregnant with their third child. “I would like [Jason] to retire when he's still able to [...] play with our kids,” she confessed.

Kylie also expressed concern about her husband’s injuries that keep on building season over season, saying “I don’t think people realize the beating you're taking [in football].”

Per Today, the Philadelphia Eagles Center revealed on “Kelce” that he’s had “at least 7 surgeries” and has injured his ankles, hands, elbows, toes, and fingers over the years.
