Dr. Berman says Pam Anderson was a “reference point” for plastic surgeries, and she may have directly impacted cosmetic surgery trends, with breast augmentation procedures up by 500% by 1999. But that same year, Anderson got her own breast implants removed for a variety of reasons.

Anderson told Entertainment Tonight that she wanted her natural body back, especially when she began nursing her children. “I feel like I'm a petite person," she said, "and just having these large breasts was, it just didn't feel right any more.
