Kenny Rogers

Kenny Rogers was married five times, and his fifth wife Wanda Miller was his "soulmate" till she died in March 2020. As for what happened to his first four marriages, Rogers says "Music [...] is like a mistress [...] I don't blame [my exes] for the marriage falling apart. I blame myself and my chosen field of music."

Merle Haggard

Merle Haggard has been married five times. He first married Leona Hobbs when they were both very young, and their relationship was "tumultuous and often violent"; his fourth and final divorce was from waitress Debbie Parret, and Haggard said that he was having "bad love affairs" while married to her.

Travis Tritt

Travis Tritt was married to his high school sweetheart, Karen Ryon, for two years in the early '80s, and later exchanged vows with Jodi Barnett. After that marriage also culminated in divorce, Tritt told Country Weekly that he's "better off staying single" and "a bachelor for life."

Kris Kristofferson

Kris Kristofferson wed his high school sweetheart, Fran Beer, in 1960. They eventually called it quits, and Kristofferson went on to marry singer Rita Coolidge in 1973 — and their relationship had high highs and low lows, with Kristofferson's "hard partying" often blamed for his romantic troubles.

Jana Kramer

Jana Kramer reconciled with husband Mike Caussin in 2016, when he was involved in a cheating scandal, and they even released a self-help book about infidelity before splitting in 2021. Kramer's marriage to Caussin was her third; her first marriage to Michael Gambino ended due to alleged abuse.
