WHY YOU WON’T SEE DAX SHEPARD AND KRISTEN BELL’S KIDS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
By SHANNON WALSH
A-list couple Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell are open about their personal and professional lives, and they even openly talk about their marriage on Shepard’s podcast, “Armchair Expert.” However, these two successful actors keep one part of their lives out of the spotlight: their two daughters, Delta and Lincoln.
When Bell posts pictures of her daughters on Instagram, she often covers their faces with emojis. She explains that as a celebrity, she has consented to having her picture taken and plastered all over the media, but as for her kids, “I don't know if they will want that. So I really don't have the right to choose for them.”
Bell and Shepard also lead the charge of the “No Kids Policy,” an initiative that prevents paparazzi from taking photos of celebrities’ children. Their efforts, bolstered by other celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper, led California Gov. Jerry Brown to sign a childhood anti-paparazzi bill in 2013.
