Would Kim Kardashian Ever Have More Kids?

If there's one family that's more famous than any other in the world, it's safe to argue that the Kardashians fit the bill. Ever since "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" premiered in 2007, the entire family has built quite the empire — from business ventures to modeling, the Kardashian and Jenner clan have pretty much done it all.

Of course, there's one name that stands out among the entire family, and that's none other than Kim Kardashian. Kim is undeniably the most well-known Kardashian, garnering her fair share of fame over the years. Then, in 2012, when Kim started dating Kanye West, the duo quickly became one of Hollywood's most famous power couples. Not only did Kim and Kanye eventually marry in 2014 (via Insider), but they have also grown their family, welcoming four children along the way.

According to Elle, Kim and Kanye's first child, North West, was born in June 2013. Their next child, Saint West, was born a couple of years later, in December 2015. Next, they welcomed Chicago West in January 2018 via surrogate, and finally, their fourth and last child, Psalm West, joined them via surrogate in May 2019. While many fans speculated whether or not Kim and Kanye would continue to grow their family, news of their separation broke, seemingly putting any of those rumors to rest. So, does Kim ever want more kids in the future? Keep reading to learn what she's said about it.

Kim Kardashian is 'done' having children

While the possibility of having more children may have existed in the past, it seems that Kim Kardashian is content with having four and stopping there.

In a preview for her interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", Kim talked about her four children and described their unique personalities. She also spilled a pretty telling detail about her future and the possibility of having more kids — and it definitely seems like it's not in the cards! "Yes, yes, [I'm done], I think. I have a lot of kids. I'm done," Kim responded when DeGeneres asked if she might have another baby someday.

Of course, this was not the first time that Kim has talked about having more kids or not. When the COVID-19 pandemic first started in March 2020, Kim expressed how she felt quarantining with four kids on "The View." "Being at home with four kids — if I ever thought for a minute that I wanted another one, that is out the door," Kim joked, adding that "it's really tough."

Both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have talked about having more kids in the past

It definitely seems that Kim Kardashian is pretty set on not having more children, though this did not always seem to be the case. In fact, both she and estranged husband Kanye West have talked about having more kids in the past. In early 2020, Kim sat down with Laura Wasser on the "All's Fair" podcast (via TMZ) and gave a cryptic answer about whether or not she might have more kids. "I just can't do more [be]cause I really want to go to school and I really want to do all this stuff," Kim explained, adding that, "I could do two more, but I just don't think I should."

Kim's revelation came just a few months after Kanye claimed that he wanted more children. "[I want] seven kids," Kanye explained to James Corden during an episode of Carpool Karaoke, via People. "The richest thing that you can have is as many children as possible."

Now that Kim and Kanye have separated, it's likely that they won't end up having any more children together. And, considering how busy she's been with studying to be a lawyer and taking care of the kids she does have, there's a good chance that four is the magic number for Kim!
