Report: Hannibal Buress Arrested In Miami

The comedian found himself in handcuffs after an incident in Miami, Fla.

TMZ reports that Hannibal Buress was arrested early on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017. A video obtained by the gossip rag shows the Broad City star arguing with the police before ultimately being forced into the back of a cop car. As evidenced in the footage, arresting officers told Buress he was being taken into the station for trespassing. However, the Miami Police Department later claimed that Burress had been charged with disorderly intoxication.

Buress, 34, was released from jail around 6 a.m. that same day on a $500 bond.

TMZ later shared details of Buress' arrest affidavit. Before arresting the actor, one of the officers involved claimed that Buress, with bloodshot eyes and the smell of alcohol on his breath, had come up to him and asked him to call an Uber. When the cop would not, Buress allegedly got angry. The police officer stated that Buress then entered a bar, though the cop reportedly soon asked him to leave, as Buress appeared drunk.

After the two returned outside, Buress allegedly began cursing at the cop. The officer stated that he'd asked Buress to leave a total of five times prior to making the arrest.

Buress has yet to comment on the incident. However, he has tweeted since his quick visit to jail. In one tweet, he posted a GIF of himself walking through a paper panel with the words, "Hannibal bustin' through." In another, he shared the song "I'm Good" by Clipse. He also retweeted a clip of himself from The Eric Andre Show, in which he's drinking in a coffin while dressed as The Matrix's Morpheus.
