Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry Talks Co-Parenting With Ex Javi Marroquin

The Teen Mom 2 star's relationship with her ex has changed but not for the better.

In an Us Weekly exclusive, published on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, Kailyn Lowry opened up about her difficult co-parenting situation with Javi Marroquin, with whom she shares a 4-year-old son, Lincoln.

"Javi and I got to a really good place by early Fall and it's unfortunate that things have changed so much to the degree that it's affecting our ability to co-parent," the reality star, 25, began. "However, I'm not going to let this stop me. I'll continue to be respectful to the father of my child and keep working at my career, and that includes my writing. Writing has been keeping me busy and focused and I'm anxious to get these upcoming books out."

The former couple, who divorced in 2016 after three years of marriage, canceled the release of their tell-all book series, He Said, She Said, just last week. "I wanted to keep our co-parenting relationship intact and didn't want to make any significant others uncomfortable," the proud mom said at the time. "We would have had to spend time together for promos and book tour, but we are not in a place to do that right now."

The decision may be linked to the Friday, Dec. 8 episode of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, in which the two argued over child support, leading to a tiff on social media. "Someone's bitter and can't move on from sh*t that happened almost two years ago #yesterdayspaper #MarriageBootCamp and #moveon," Marroquin, 25, tweeted during the episode, adding, "Have more important things to worry about right now than a past relationship that's dead to me."

In response, Lowry tweeted, "Wow, disappointed in yourself that you let OTHERS influence how you treat the mother of your child, yet here we are again."

The Pride Over Pity author, who recently revealed that she has a girlfriend, also shares 7-year-old son, Issac, with ex Jo Rivera and 5-month-old son, Lux, with ex Chris Lopez. Meanwhile, Marroquin is currently dating Teen Mom 2 costar Briana DeJesus.
