Camille Grammer Diagnosed With Cancer For Second Time

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star just had another major health scare.

On Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, Camille Grammer revealed to her over 371,000 Instagram followers that she had been diagnosed with skin cancer, specifically squamous cell carcinoma. Fortunately, however, it appears that doctors were able to remove the cancer.

"Thank you Dr. Beth karlan for removing those pesky cancer cells. You are Amazing!" Grammer wrote alongside photos of herself in Cedars-Sinai Hospital. "This is my second cancer diagnoses. Thank God We found it early. (squamous cell carcinoma)."

Grammer continued, "Early detection is key. My cancer was removed and I'm resting at home. Ladies listen to your bodies. If something doesn't seem right go for a checkup. Don't put it off. Annual check ups are important."

Explaining what prompted Grammer to see a doctor, her rep told Page Six, "Camille didn't feel 'right.'"

The rep further noted, "She went to her oncologist immediately and had a procedure to remove a small malignancy. She urges everyone to run, not walk to their doctors if they suspect there's an issue, and to learn more, she suggests that people visit FoundationforWomensCancer.org to learn more and find a great doctor in their area."

The reality TV star—and former wife of Frasier actor Kelsey Grammer—was previously diagnosed with early stage endometrial cancer in 2013, as reported by E! News. As part of treatment, Grammer "underwent a radical hysterectomy," which was said to have gone well.

In January 2015, she celebrated being one year cancer-free. "It's an amazing start to the new year," Grammer told E! News at the time. "I'm reaching milestones all the time and just trying to get myself back."
