Nick Jonas Reacts To Jonas Brothers Reunion Rumors
Is the "Jealous" singer getting his old band back together?
At the Grammys on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, Nick Jonas spoke with E! News' Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, and he opened up about the potential Jonas Brothers reunion that's been whispered about online. Unfortunately, however, it'd appear that the gossip was simply untrue.
"We hung out for a weekend all together, and I guess our Instagram was restarted or reopened, but I can tell you right now there's no reunion planned," Nick revealed.
Still, Nick did offer Jonas Brothers fans some hope for the future. "But never say never, you never know what's going to happen," he noted.
According to Us Weekly, rumors that he and his older brothers, Kevin and Joe, were joining forces yet again started circulating after their band's Instagram account was reactivated. Fans later became even more suspicious after the siblings hit up the John Varvatos fashion show in New York City on Jan. 26, where they donned matching leather jackets. But sadly, it'd appear that the siblings' matching styles was just a coincidence, not some marketing strategy to promote the band.
The Jonas Brothers previously disbanded in 2013. Since then, Kevin's focused on his family, getting married and having two children (via Entertainment Tonight). Joe, on the other hand, formed the band DNCE in 2015. He's also currently engaged to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
As for Nick? The singer's been focusing on his solo music career while simultaneously branching out into acting with roles in projects like Scream Queens, Kingdom, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
