Report: Brother Of DJ Khaled's Fiancee Killed In New York

This is tragic.

People reports that the brother of DJ Khaled's fiancée Nicole Tuck has passed away. The man, identified as Jonathan Tuck, was found unconscious in a Bronx apartment by New York police on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018. He'd reportedly suffered a gunshot wound.

According to New York's PIX11 news, Jonathan had allegedly been purchasing marijuana when a fight began, during which he was reportedly shot. However, TMZ reports that Jonathan had been at the apartment to watch the Super Bowl, not to buy drugs. According to the gossip rag's sources, there'd been an attempted robbery and, while trying to defend himself, Jonathan was shot in the back of the head.

Jonathan was later pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital.

The NY Daily News notes that Jonathan, who was just 25 years old, is survived by a young daughter. The paper adds that a man was taken into police custody for questioning regarding Jonathan's death. However, no arrests have been made at the time of this writing.

Khaled has since spoken out about the death of his fiancée's brother. In a statement obtained by People, the music producer, who shares a 15-month-old son with Nicole, said, "Our family appreciates the condolences from loved ones and friends. We are requesting privacy during this difficult time."
