Who Is Margot Robbie's Gorgeous Brother?

Since becoming the breakout star of 2016's Suicide Squad, Margot Robbie (aka Harley Quinn) has managed to build an impressive career. In 2018, the Australian actress landed her first Oscar nomination for her powerful portrayal of controversial figure skater Tonya Harding in I, Tonya and she continues to gain fans and make headlines with each project she tackles.

However, what many don't know about the young starlet is that she actually has two siblings, older brother Lachlan 'Lockie' Robbie, who works as a stuntman, and younger brother Cameron Robbie. Both have kept a relatively low profile over the years, but the latter suddenly exploded in popularity in 2018 thanks to a single Instagram photo. Here's everything you need to know about Margot's gorgeous younger brother.

He broke the internet with a single photo

Margot's younger brother had flown under the radar until a single photo unexpectedly catapulted him into the spotlight in January 2018 and nearly broke the internet.

Taking to Instagram to congratulate his sister on her Oscar nomination for best actress in a leading role for I, Tonya, the proud sibling shared a black and white snap of himself hugging his sis and wrote, "There's nothing I could say that articulates how proud I am of this one #whatamoment #academyawardnominee!" As Access Hollywood cheekily pointed out, "it was then that the Internet realized that Cameron Robbie is ridiculously good looking — and the thirsting commenced."

Twitter instantly exploded with newfound fans sharing Insta pics of Robbie and gushing over his good looks with comments like, "Yay Margot Robbie got a well deserved #oscarnom for I, Tonya BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT HER BROTHER" and "Margot Robbie has a brother and I'll just put it this way ... he does not make my eyes feel sad."

His sister inspired his career

Like sister, like brother. Acting must be a part of the Robbie family's genes, as Margot's brother has been slowly following in her footsteps for as long as he can remember. In a 2014 interview with Australia's Gold Coast Bulletin, a 19-year-old Robbie revealed that he was bitten by the acting bug early. "My sister and I liked to perform all the time, (including) skits at home," he said.

While speaking with the magazine on the set of Gifted, a superhero short being shot at the Gold Coast Arts Centre in his hometown, the teen revealed that his sis was his no. 1 inspiration. "When she started succeeding, I realised you can do this as a job," he said. "She is such a grounded, supportive and intelligent girl. There's such a business side to this world ... and she's helping with (that)."

You probably haven't seen his work

As of January 2018, Cameron had only three acting credits to his name and they were all indie projects. His first role was that of "The Flirting Teenaged Boy" in 2009's I.C.U., an Australian feature-length thriller about three teens who believe they've learned the true identity of a "sadistic voyeuristic killer" wreaking havoc on their city.

In 2015, he followed up his inaugural role with a stint as the antagonist in a 15-minute superhero short called Gifted, which showcases "the rise and fall of the world's first superhero, Guardian." Then, in 2016, he appeared in People You May Know, a short drama about a 17-year-old girl who "accepts a random friend request online [and] decides that meeting up with him wouldn't be such a bad idea." Spoiler alert: it turns out to be a very bad idea.

He makes a great 'bridesman'

In addition to sharing a passion for acting, Cameron and his sister also share the same favorite pastimes and best friends.

During a 2015 interview with EW, Margot revealed that she was "backpacking for a week with my brother on an island off Croatia," which they accessed by catamaran from the mainland, when she got the call to audition for Focus. "I'm soaking wet because I'd been swimming, I get back to the hostel at 6am, no sleep, turn my phone on, and I've got all these messages: 'They want you to audition for Focus" she recalled.

In November 2017, Cameron revealed that he and Margot also have the same friends when he shared a snap of himself, his sis, and his besties in Hawaii. "Bride's Corner. Sometimes one of a girls best friends is a guy, and he makes an awesome bridesman!!" he wrote.

He's a proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community

Right before Australians headed to the polls to vote on same-sex marriage in November 2017 (61 percent voted in favor,) Cameron took to Instagram to show his support for the LGBTQ+ community and encourage his 47,000 followers to vote "Yes."

Sharing a snap of himself jumping in front of a pride flag emblazoned with a huge "Yes," he wrote: "This is no time to lose our heads, be kind and vote for equality. Voting no is hurtful and destructive — young Australians deserve a safer and more accepting community."

The cause is clearly close to the actor's heart, as it has been the subject of a number of his social media posts, including one in 2016 in which Cameron, his cheeks covered in glitter, is seen celebrating at a Pride celebration in Brighton. "MARGE! MARGE! THE GAYS ARE 'ERE! #superjuicy," he joked in the pic's caption.

He's obsessed with music festivals

If there's one subject matter that makes the most appearances on Cameron's Instagram feed, it's music festivals. In fact, he seems to be obsessed with them. Scroll through the music lover's snaps, and you'll see him attending outdoor shows across his native Australia throughout the year, every year.

In January 2015, he was at the Falls Festival in Byron Bay, New South Wales and "happily falling into the new year with one of the best sets I've ever seen." The following month, he was taking in the sights and sounds at St Jerome's Laneway Festival in Melbourne, then he was off to the Listen Out Festival in September of that year. In April 2016, Robbie was dancing again at Groovin the Moo before welcoming the new year at the Falls Festival again, this time in Lorne, Victoria. Come January 2018, he was checking in at the Midsumma Festival, Melbourne's celebration of LGBTQ+ culture. This guy never stops!

He has a bad case of the travel bug

As his sister revealed in 2015, Cameron has a serious case of the travel bug and loves exploring new lands.

In January 2017, he and his friends set off for an exotic adventure when they flew to Thailand and went off the beaten path, spending two nights "in a floating jungle hut" on the River Kwai, before visiting a slew of tourist hot spots, including Ayutthaya, Wat Pho temple, and Wat Phra Ram. Just a few months later, the jet setter was off to Kilauea, Hawaii and "scouting for my new beach house" before hitting the beach in Rye, Victoria to celebrate his 23rd birthday.
